BR2-2 The Elephant Man

This is real story. After I read this book. I searched it on wikipedia.

This story is about Joseph Merrick. But he was called "Elephant Man" because of his ugly face. He was in a shop as a creature. The people payed the money for shopkeeper to see "Elephant Man".

One day Dr Frederick Treves found this shop and saw "Elephant Man". Next day he took Merrick to his hospital. He looked at his head, legs and body very carefully. Dr Frederick gave Merrick to card. After that Merrick went to shop. Next day Merrick and shopkeeper were gone.

Two years passed. Suddenly Merrick backed to London. Dr Frederick collected the money for Merrick's home using The Times. Many The Times reader donated money for Merrick.

Gradually Merrick became famous. And many visitors came to Merrick's house. Moreover the queen of England came. Everybody smiled and enjoyed the time with Merrick. Merrick was happy.

But one day Merrick tried to sleep like a normal man, but because of his heavy head, he broke his neck and died.(177 words/ 1467 words)

Today I came home early because I have only one class. And this is writing class. So I went home 11:00am, maybe~.

I checked BARKS. It is music news site. And it said "Travis Barker left the hospital" I was really happy. Because I worried about him very much. Because he is blink182 member. And now he belongs +44. He has own clothing brand "Famous Stars And Straps". I have some Tshirts of this brand.

He had airplane accident last month. In the plane there were six people. Four people died and two survived. So Travis and DJ AM were only surviver. But they burned badly. So they entered hospital.

When I got this news. I was worried. Because I still look forward to reunion blink182. But if Travis died... I didn't want to think about it.

Lists-1 The Best Act on Warped Tour August 3rd in Minnesota

It's too old thing. When I was in Minnesota. I went to Vans Warped Tour. It's a punk rock festival. I really wanted to go Warped, when I was a high school student. I watched many bands that day. Here are the lists of best act that I think.

1. The Academy Is...: Actually this was the second time to see them. I have seen them last year of Summer Sonic. On Warped, They performed some new song. Before I went to Minnesota. I checked their new song on myspace. So I could sing along. Their live show was awesome!

2. Angels and Airwaves : This band's members are all star. The members are Tom Delonge(ex blink182), David Kennedy(Box car racer), Atom Willard(former drummer of The Offspring) and Matt Wachter(former bassist of 30 seconds to mars). Its cool isn't it? My best favorite band is blink182. So I really wanted to see AVA's live. My dream came true.

3. Story Of The Year: Wow their live was powerful. The audience made mosh-pit. And they run and run in the circle. I shot the video. It was beautiful.

4. Relent K: This band was the last act on Warped that day. The first song that they played was "Be My Escape". This is my favorite song. And at that time I know only this song. But their music is pop. And piano sound was awesome.

5. Anberlin: Actually this band is my friend's favorite band. So maybe he is jealous of me! haha. Their songs are better than CD's one. So I was surprised. Like "This is live sound!!!"(268 words/1148 words)

Octorber

Time fries...

Today is October 1st. On September, I worked a lot in my part-time job. I am really tired. But probably I can get enough money to use. Also I want to save money.

I didn't study in September. I need more time to study. So I think I want a strong body which don't need to sleep. Just kidding~. I'll try to make time to study. Also I need time to practice guitar.

BR2-1 The Lottery Winner

This story is about winner of lottery and snatcher. The old woman hit by the young man when she went home. The young man snatched old woman's bag. In the bag, there was a lottery ticket. And this is winning ticket. So he became rich and appeared TV. The old woman watched TV and call the police. The police caught the young man. The young man didn't tell the truth and hired the lawyer. The old woman also hired Lawyer. Everyone wants money. In the end lawyer will get money. Because to hire the lawyar is very expensive.

After I read this story. I felt I'm sorry to the old woman. Money is absolutely her money. I thought this story is not good!

If I get big money, I want to go back to Minnesota~.(135 words/800 words)

Monday...

When I came home, somehow I wanted to listen to this song badly. I don't why... This song is "Streetcar". The band is Funeral For A Friend. It’s funny band name. I don't have CD of this band. So I listened to this song on Youtube. This song's guitar riff is so cool! I wanna try it. I have to improve my suck guitar skill.

Hmm... Today was rainy. I go to school by bicycle. So it was hard work today. I had to wear rain coat. Kumamoto is getting colder. Summer is over. I have to buy new clothes. BUT my wallet is almost empty. Someone give me money! haha. I'm really looking forward to getting pay of my part-time job.(122 words/665 words)
